Where It All Began

Galbraith & Company, Inc. was established in 2006 by Sarah Galbraith. With a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University and experience as a stagehand and manager, Sarah was working as a freelance bookkeeper in the theater, handling as many as a dozen productions by herself.  She needed to hire help to manage the workload, and her vision for Galbraith & Company grew from there.

Our production accountants combine technical expertise with a love of the performing arts.  Loving what we do and being a part of the theater community is key to providing the best possible service to our clients. Since its founding, Galbraith & Company has worked on hundreds of theatrical productions in a wide range of venues.  Currently, we are represented in New York and on the road by Hamilton, Girl From the North Country, Six, The Cottage, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Sweeney Todd along with many others.
